WATCH: Gamecock hype video promotes tough schedule as an 'opportunity'

South Carolina has answered questions about its difficult schedule all offseason. It became such a topic that coach Will Muschamp addressed it at SEC Media Days before he was even asked. “They say challenge, we see an opportunity,” is the tweet the program used to promote its latest hype video. QB Jake Bentley, commonly seen as a face of this program, narrates this hype video with images interspersed of Bentley watching the video, and other teammates running in the sand and lifting weights. Highlighted by games against Alabama, at Georgia and Clemson, South Carolina is widely viewed as having the most difficult schedule in the country by several measures, including ESPN’s Football Power Index. The difficult part of this is the Gamecocks arch-rivals are in that group. However, they get two of them at home, and Williams-Brice Stadium will be rocking.

One thing I really like about our schedule, there will be no questions.

Remember 2017 UCF, 2010 TCU, about 4 different Boise St teams.

If we were to upset everyone and go undefeated, we will be in the SEC championship again and if we win that, we will definitely be in the playoffs.

Unlike those other teams with kinda weak schedules, our schedule would leave no questions.

Like Jake said, BUILD THE HOUSE. It was neat to see him doing that power lifting. It's not just talk this time.

Regardless, I see a real team growing here and I feel those 11+ win seasons might be here again.

Boise State was always a joke.  They played two halfway decent teams every year during their run, and that's how they got recognition.  They had all summer to plan for their first opponent, and a month to prepare for their bowl game. Other than those two, they played a bunch of nobodies.  It kind of reminds me of what another team has done.  I'll bet we could have been pretty good last year, if we played high school teams up till the post season.

Oh, and this video made me want to run through a couple of walls, and tackle a dump truck when I watched it.
