Congratulations on the greatest offensive performance in team history.

Question,  why the hell did it take all this time to get to the second page of the playbook?

I feel just takes a year to implement this type of offense the pro set. Anyhow looking forward to spring practice...

This game looks to be a turning point for the program and CSB's comments about the offensive staff exude confidence that the team has what it takes to keep the trajectory heading in the right direction.  Shane needs to keep a jar of Duke's Mayo on his desk to remind him of this point in the program's history.

Beyond the Xs and Os it looks like Beamer is positioning himself as someone assistant coaches want to work for and a program that players want to play for.  If that upsets the taters and the haters then so be it.  I like it.

I am looking forward to Shane losing the boyish emo stuff and settling in as confident and cool in the saddle by the end of next season.

If LSU doesn't win their bowl game, then we will be the only unranked SEC team to do so this year.

I believe he will be the SEC COTY.

One of the media guys in the Bama/Cincy game said that Cincy never sees the "body types" that Bama has in the American Athletic Conference.  You could say that's also true for Michigan as well and I also think you can also extend those thoughts to any new coaching staff like ours coming into the fame and fortune of the SEC from other conferences.

SEC athletes are stronger and faster than any others they've played against before.  Whatever worked for you in another conference may not work against SEC opponents.

We, as well as Shane, would like to have seen better results this season, but this is the SEC and things are just what they are.

We need to coach and play better to compete and win in the SEC.

We beat UNC 25-13 in the 1st half and then 13-8 in the second half.  We have the talent to beat teams similar in record to us, but not much anyone else right now.  UNC is about the same as us and we beat them.  Shane usually wins when leading at the half and that's how this one played out, so lots of positive things from that standpoint.

We need to coach better and also bring better athletes in to have a better record next season.

Shane and his staff get paid the big bucks to figure that one out and I believe they will.  That's about all anyone can say at this point.

Having said all of the above, it was still a great win against a veteran HC in Mack Brown.  Howell picked our secondary apart, but we had great Red Zone defense that limited the damage.

Looking forward to seeing who we else get on the regular National Signing Day in February.  I believe we will be pleasantly surprised.

GO COCKS!!

Satt: Sounds good after the big win, but it shows we had the talent to do noticeably better in the 1st half of the season.  :(

That said.....it's how you finish that people remember the most. Congrats to Coach Satt, for pulling this out of his hat.

Yeah, where was this offense against Clemson?

Wins over UK, Mizzou, and likely UT.  The Vols have a high-output offense, but non-existent defense when we played them, so I would say that would have been a win this offense.

Zeb was obviously out for UK and UT, but I still think we would have had a shot.
