“This game says a lot about you guys. It says a lot about the guys we’ve got in this locker room, the culture of our organization, the character of our football team and where we’re headed. Does everybody understand? Give yourselves a hand. “Everybody from this state who went to school here is going to get a game ball – and I’m paying for it. …”

Powerful words from a proud coach! pic.twitter.com/5ImEAb9Ucd

This very well might be my favorite thing he's done. You know recruits loved it

Despite the losses, he's never really lost the team.  You could see that when he gave "The Species" his scholarship in front of the team earlier in the season.

There have been doubts about him being a legit D1P5 HC up to this point.  He never says anything, but you know it's in his head, too.

I like him and hope this ends up being his breakout season as a HC.

UF game is a huge opportunity.

If Muschamp puts together back to back wins over SEC East rivals, one being top 5 and the other top 10, after handing UK their ass... no one could argue that Booms trend line is not ascending.

It was not that long ago when Coach Muschamp was the "hottest coach in waiting".  Things did not go well for him at Texas as Mack Brown would not retire and then Coach Muschamp went to Florida and he was given a task to clean up the mess left by Urban Meyer and he did, but it cost him some good players during the process.  Our hiring of Coach Muschamp and his acceptance of the job was a "tall order to ask of anyone - considering the talent level he had to inherit".  I think he is still a very good coach and has put together a great staff and just needs a couple more years to have a very successful program at USC.  Will we ever be a consistent Top Five Program, I don't know the answer to that question, but I do know that if anyone in the country can get the Gamecocks there it will be Coach Muschamp.

USC deserves a nice - long - run - of success and I think Coach Muschamp wants that as badly as any of us that loves the Gamecock Nation does.
