  • LSU leads the all-time series against the Gamecocks 22-13, but South Carolina is 10-5 against the Tigers in the Dawn Staley, including a current nine-game win streak.
  • Forward Aliyah Boston is three blocks away from tying Alaina Coates' South Carolina freshman season record of 73.

Ladies, you have been magnificent & keep up the pace of basketball excellence!  Let’s put another notch towards that conference championship w/o taking foot off the peddle.  Strengthen our great D, keep running transition plays, & continue the 3 point assault so that we can rely on it during the tournaments.  LSU is a capable foe regardless of record therefore, treat them as you would any dangerous program.  GO COCKS!

13 turnovers and 9 fouls. We are dominating on the boards and we were shooting very well, until the last half of the 2nd Qtr. LSU has a strong defense, and they can ugly down a game much in the way Frank Martin's defenses can, but we are just too loose and sloppy with how we're playing. Hopefully we tighten it up for the 2nd half - we still lead 32-26, but that won't last if we have another quarter like the 2nd one.....

We seem to have righted the ship a bit to start the 2nd half: only 1 turnover, and no fouls through the first half of the 3rd Period. Gamecocks lead 43-31 with just over 4 minutes in the 3rd Qtr....

 
I think our girls needed a game like this where they have to work for it. Glad for the lead right now. Hoping the 4th will be a whole different game.

 
LSU cannot shoot with us and they cannot rebound with us. We just need to stop all the charging fouls and turnovers - that's been the only thing holding us down. But LSU hasn't even been shooting FTs with us - they've attempted 4 FTs, we've attempted 15.

Gamecocks lead 52-36 through 3 quarters......
