Could Neal Brown become the next South Carolina head coach? There have been rumors tying the West Virginia head coach to the Gamecocks’ opening. However, they may not be true.
On Tuesday, Brown shut down the idea of him leaving for South Carolina during his weekly press conference.
“I guess it’s good because it means people realize we’re doing something good,” Brown told the media. “But I’m not a candidate there.”
If that’s the case, then Oklahoma assistant head coach Shane Beamer could be the most likely option to be South Carolina’s head coach. Beamer reportedly interviewed for the job last week, and apparently it went well. (FULL ARTICLE SDS)
