What's the story with Gamecock coaches fighting on the sidelines?

Probably finger-pointing at the linebacker unit. Just a guess. Might be wrong though.
Those linebackers had no clue about their assignments. Defensive line was absorbing blockers, and the linebackers weren't controlling the spaces in between. They weren't backing the line. Probably got under Deke Adam's skin.
Gamecockboat I happen to think you are correct but no way of knowing until (IF) one of them speak out.
If that is the case then I think Adams was in the wrong for several reasons. 1) it's his first yr and he has not earned the right to call anyone out. 2) LB coach has entirely new crew so there are going to be learning mistakes 3) can't say I have been that impressed with Adams as coach of a very strong and veteran DLine group.
But final reason. In 8 previous years we have never seen this staff do something like this in public during a game. It has happen during practices between coaches (see former DLine coach and former DC) Adams may have been allowed to jump in another coaches face at UNC or So Miss but that crap won't fly here. If you notice Ward is not arguing with LB coach but is just trying to calm him down while telling Adams to get the Hell away. Watch the replay, Ward plainly appears to be saying "get your a$$ over there" when he looks back at Adams while talking to Boykin.
Have to admit that I was not really upset by it, it was an emotional moment but football is played with emotion. I am willing to bet that had we won this would not be such a issue but tonight, everything and everyone associated with USC sucks according to some. Many of which you will only see their handles when USC loses......just makes you wonder
