Is he redshirting or something?  I haven't heard his name called at all, and I don't remember seeing him much in the boxscore.

He was listed at 6-9 260 when he was recruited.....is there some reason he's not playing? Injury perhaps?

I ask because it seems like we could use some more 260-pound guys in the post these days.

He's a guy that wasn't expected to get many minutes coming in. He's not injured, but he's been playing sparingly. The bottom line is he's just not ready for the SEC.

Last time I saw Desmond he was running a hot dog stand outside Big Lots in West Columbia. He was complaining about not making any money but dang he sure was eating a lot of hot dogs. Anyways, he said that was more profitable than sitting on the end of our bench and watching walkons playing ahead of him. If you get a chance go by there and buy a hot dog from him. They're real good - Carolina Pride!

If Desmond had a decent 3-point shot, he'd be starting every game.

Maybe he should work on that.

I like hot dogs.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!

I just got back from Big Lots and "Ringer's Round Rollers" hot dog stand. Ever resourceful Frank Martin is flying the kiosk to Auburn for the game tonight and Desmond is setting up in the concourse and planning on selling a lot of dogs at halftime to the hungry Auburn fans distraught over their teams insurmountable deficit resulting from Brian Steele's 74 first half points - not bad for a walk on! Desmond has assured Martin that he will be available to play in the second half after Steele's 100th point of the game when Martin will pull Steele from the game to thunderous applause from the War Eagle faithful. Steele has agreed to watch the kiosk so Desmond can.

MORE BREAKING NEWS!!!!!

Frank Martin just announced that since he can get such superbly talented players from the student body - like Brian Steele - he will no longer recruit outside the USC campus - a move that will save the Athletics Dept gazillions of dollars!
