The White House coronavirus task force is now warning against even going out to buy groceries or medication as the pandemic is expected to hit a deadly apex in the coming two weeks.

Wow, this must be some bad stuff if death by starvation is preferable to even the risk of contracting the virus.

They mean avoid going out as much as possible. You never know what kind of idiots you will encounter who avoid any precautions at all. The other day, I observed a family of 8 shopping for groceries. None of them had on any protective items whatsoever, and the were not maintaining a safe distance from anyone. None of them were being sent to other areas of the store for the items they eventually filled up the basket with. They just moved like a blob up and down each aisle.

Yeah some people just don’t get it. We have made a point to plan out our shopping to minimize trips as much as possible. At most once a week. Saturday I went to Costco and bought over $400 worth of groceries. Should last about 2 weeks at least.

I don’t think the point is not to go out at all. Just plan your trips in advance, don’t go out to the store for onesie twosy items. And wear some mask or scarf or something.

I have to say Costco was very organized. There was a line because they were Limiting the amount of people inside at a time. They wiped down the carts, etc.
