Kelvin Harmon
WR Kelvin Harmon of Palmyra, NJ Thursday night announced a decommitment from USC. Harmon said he talked with Gamecock head coach Will Muschamp earlier in the evening to give him the news.
“I’m rethinking things right now,” Harmon said adding that he has not made a decision on another school and won’t make a final decision until Signing Day. “I’m going to keep South Carolina in mind and others.”
Harmon said the coaching change at USC shook things up for him and he’s not getting the feeling he’s a high priority for the Gamecocks.
“It was just how everything happened and nobody talked to be for a while,” he said. “Coach Muschamp was in town and didn’t stop by to see me. I’ve got to go somewhere where I am a priority.”
Harmon was just named all-state in New Jersey and led the state in receiving yards with over 1100. He’s the third decommitment for the Gamecocks since Muschamp was named head coach on Sunda
