Wideman still thinking over decsion

DL Dexter Wideman of Saluda will be the last of the state's major prospects to announce a decision when he does so around 3:00 PM today. According to a source this afternoon, Wideman and his grandmother left school around lunch time to further discuss the options. Wideman has been committed to Florida State and visited there with his grandmother and other family members last weekend. But an in home visit from USC coach Steve Spurrier January 24th went a long way in helping USC's chances. The source could not confidently predict the ultimate decision from Wideman but put the percentage early this afternoon at 70% USC. But this opinion was formed prior to Wideman and his grandmother leaving school to further discuss the decision.
