I am anxious to see how we attack the WI 3-4 defensive scheme. We rarely play teams that run the 3-4, but I actually think it sets up well for us. With our large Oline I think we can wear them down up front, esp the LBs. I also think this alignment is tailor made for our spread attack with that off tackle play. It should give us some good blocking angles. I look for Mike Davis to have some good runs on that play. I also think we can get outside on them which is something that is difficult to do in the SEC. If they start to over pursue on the spread look for Connor to run a reverse with the WR for some good yards.

Their Rush defense is ranked in the top 5 (101 ypg) and pass defense in the top 15 (192 ypg)

Is this reflective of their competition? Maybe.

Linebacker Chris Borland (Sr) is good at 5-11 248 with 4 sacks on the season. I think there is a highlight showing him wrap up the RB for Minn and rip the ball out for a fumble recovery.

I read somewhere that QB Tanner McEvoy (6-6 215) was playing Safety - which offers a different perspective from feeling what a QB will do.
Thir Nose Tackle, Beau Allen (Sr 6-3 333) also has some decent stats and true freshman cornerback Sojourn Shelton (5-9 162) has 4 INTs.
I think it will be a test for us and we should not underestimate their ability to make plays.
