In interview with Ryan Wright of (link: http://RecruitingNewsGuru.com) RecruitingNewsGuru.com, [COLOR= rgb(217, 217, 217)]#Gamecocks[/COLOR] target DE Reggie Grimes of Brentwood, TN said he's dropped LSU from list leaving USC, Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt as the contenders with his announcement on November 2nd.
There is a good reason Reggie Grimes is rated as a five-star recruit (ESPN). The Class of 2020 defender has it all; size (6-3.5, 240), speed (4.51 laser), and the determination to be the best showcasing his abilities at The Opening this summer against the best of the best in the nation. Grimes spent his junior season building up the resume to get to this point with Mount Juliet High School taking on 6A Tennessee competition working to earn over 20 scholarship offers. His senior season begins in a different way having narrowed his top schools list down to five, has a set commitment date of Nov. 2, and will suit up for Ravenwood (Brentwood) to close out his high school career.
