...that we are MUCH better off as a team at this point in the season this year than we were at this point in the season last year? I would. The only key difference being that we haven't played and beaten UGA yet like we had at this time last year.
Despite that, I'd say that I feel much more confident going into game five this weekend than I did going into game five last year. Last year, we didn't have a clue which team would show up. We weren't even certain that we could score more than two TDs without the D scoring. This year, even with the questions at QB, I've felt confident that we could score enough to win on offense. It also seems that our D is very, very good. I'd say I feel more confident about that right now than I did at this point last year, too.
I also did not expect to win every game like I do now. I really and truly believe we can, and I def didn't think that after the Vandy game or even the Navy game. Auburn just made those feelings realized, and little did we know, we were about to lose our starting QB and Heisman candidate RB within a very short period of time. Granted, that all worked out about as we'll as it could (minus UGA backing their way into OUR division title). But still, things looked pretty bleak throughout much of 2011 right up until the end.
So anyway, surely I'm not the only one feeling that way. What has changed for you?
And this is CT after all, so who disagrees? Anyone not feeling very confident? Major areas of concern?
