WR JJ Arecega-Whiteside closing in on a decision later this month

With just a couple of more visits before a decision, 3 star WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside 6'3" 208lbs said an announcement could come in the next week. He will visit Michigan State early this week and heads to Stanford shortly after.Arcega-Whiteside did acknowledge he does have a leader but was not ready to divulge that school.
“I’ve been visiting a lot of schools this summer, mostly on this side of the country,” he said. “I visited Wake Forest, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Clemson and South Carolina of course.” Only USC and Clemson have not offered of the aforementioned programs.
As for his favorites, Arcega-Whiteside said that the list is constantly changing as programs accept commitments and spots are no longer available.
“I have a good idea (who is my favorite) but I want to visit Michigan State and Stanford before I make a decision,” he said. “Of course, I’m going to miss my family wherever I go but distance is not really a factor in my decision.”
Arcega-Whiteside did not give a firm date for his commitment but said it could come as early as next week.
