I told y'all a few days ago that Josh Vann had some extremely unlucky circumstances last year. Was hoping he'd show up last night, and he did.
Among the other starting WR's, Jalen Brooks had a phenomenal catch last night, but still needs to get a little more consistent. As for Joyner, he was probably the biggest disappointment of last night. You just want to see what he can do with the ball in his hands in open space, but he dropped like 3 passes on the money yesterday.

Z. White is one of my new favorite players. Thought in the Spring Game that the guy was amazing and seemed to be flying under the radar, but the secret is out.
Let's be honest, it is hard to take away anything you see in the Spring Game as a tangible translation to how they will play in the fall - but White has been so much improved. Pundits like to use the term "sudden" and I think that describes his style ... the previous adjective to describe him might be "slashing," and I think they both work. If I had to compare him to a pro, I would say he has some Alvin Kamara in him, whereas right now Marshawn looks so much like Mike Davis to me. Two great choices to have, and the guy who we thought might make some Heisman noise hasn't even touched the rock yet!
