Zone blitz is where a lineman drops into coverage and someone blitzes. do you think we’ll use it this year?

IMO yes because Taylor will go into coverage pretty often like he did last year (so will others) and Ward likes to blitz.

this will cause the opposition confusion, plays only have a few seconds to develop and with a zone blitz and is bad when some of that time is devoted to figuring out what the D is doing.

will we do it as often as some NFL teams do?

Don’t think so.
I think both Taylor and Clowney have the athleticism to do it. With the front four we have, blitzing will be a luxury, not a necessity—so I think we will do just enough to keep opposing offenses guessing, or when an opportunity to make a big play presents itself.
