I would have loved to kept her also, but she wasn't going to be starting next year...espcially with Latson coming in the 2 position. My guess is she wants to start some place...she hasn't shown Coach that she can play under control enough to earn that starting role. Just my $0.02 worth...probably owe you at least a penny of that back.

Not overly surprised by this. I figured one or two would hit the portal when the Latson signing was announced, just didn't know who. Fulwiley is a great talent, but there were definitely times when she and Coach Staley didn't seem to be on the same page. We'll be fine though and I wish Fulwiley well, except if/when her next team plays us. -

Becker started on the mound for us and gave up 4 runs in the 1st and 2 more in the 3rd. He's been great for us the past few years, but he seems to have lost his stuff and it kinda start last year.

Both our baseball and MBB teams have looked like crap since Donati took over. Did our new AD tell both teams they really didn't have to practice that much if they didn't want to?

Not a matter of practice unfortunately. They’re just running low on talent for this level of competition. We’ve got a few players to build around but we’re pretty far off. Things can change quickly in the portal era though. -
