Gamecocks Head to Athens Saturday

Carolina has won 12-straight over the Bulldogs dating back to Jan. 4, 2017

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (8-12, 1-6 SEC) remains on the road Saturday at Georgia (13-7, 3-4 SEC). The Gamecocks and Bulldogs both enter the game hungry for a victory. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. (ET) on SEC Network. Dave Neal (pxp) and Joe Kleine (analyst) will be on the call for the broadcast.

Carolina has won 12-straight in the series dating back to a 67-61 win on Jan. 4, 2017 in Stegeman Coliseum to start conference play in the team’s historic Final Four season. It’s the longest win streak in the series on either side.

Georgia’s last win came on March 11, 2016 in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament. JJ Frazier made two late free throws in the final seconds to seal a 65-64 victory.
