Meatloaf dead

We tend to take access to good music on the Internet for granted these days, but back in the day most young folks just bought the records they heard on the radio and that was it.

That's the way I have started to go back to since a lot of the bands and performers have started to die off.

I remember John Lennon once saying in an interview that he was just a "record guy" that just listened to the records and that was it.  I believe this is before he did other things with Yoko and the like.

So that's the way I am starting to go back to.  Just play my record collection and enjoy the good songs.

I was not aware that Jim Steinman had also died this past April.

Sad news.  My friend that is a piano/ keyboard player in Nashville was asked to play on his upcoming album, but that was delayed in the last month.  Sounds like Meat may have been infected with Covid, so I guess that's why they postponed any potential recording.

RIP Meatloaf.
