My game plan would be run it straight down their throats. Then mix in some play action. Idk much about their defense so I guess that's a good thing. On our defense I would suppose our corners play up tight with their passing game right? I guess jam them at the line. With their passing game I bet there will be at least 2 picks and Legree gets one of them. (Jumps the slant) do y'all think we blitz much or we just use our front four. Also bet they only get like 75 yards rushing. Oh yea and the other pick is by a d line men. I think clowney will only have one or two sacks though but he makes a big play. I feel like some people are cautious about this game which is fine but look what we did to the taters O at their place. I also want to run the score up because I'm still mad about baseball.

UNC game plan

Went back and looked at UNC's stats. For the most part they are an equal opportunity offender on defense. Teams who were good passing teams were able to throw all over them. Teams who were more run focused were able to run all over them. UNC won a ton of shootouts last year and scored on pretty much everyone they played so our offense can't come out flat.
I agree you start out seeing if they can stop the power run game, mixing in some play action on 2nd down, and maybe once you get the safeties moving towards the LOS try to go over the top to Byrd. If our OL shows up we should dominate them with the run but we haven't dominated anyone lately with our OL so that remains to be seen.
On defense you only rush on third and more than 7. I don't really like the idea of Clowney playing the run and dropping into coverage, but that is exactly what we did with our ends against USM when Fedora was the coach. No reason to speed rush the passer if they get the ball out in 2 seconds.
I hope we avoid our usual flat opening game start and we roll these boys. Having said that I am kind of expecting a close game where we pull away in the 4th quarter.
