Unreal, this guy is going to destroy an entire generation of Russian men. It certainly doesn't look like he's ready to take any kind of off ramp any time soon. So tragic, so sad.

The war has gone on for so long now and with so much loss of life on both sides.

Unfortunately I expect both sides to violate the truce when the weather improves.

I agree, neither side seems interested in stopping the fighting. smh

FYI:
Drone warfare has dramatically changed the battlefield.
Ukraine was already one of the most technologically advanced nations before the war, and now they've become the world's leader in drone warfare.
They are domestically producing in excess of a million drones & cruise missiles of all kinds of types a year.
Their kill ratios on the fronts are pushing something like 6-1, with Russian assault units being destroyed left and right.
For all it's worth, in the UAF, the drone has now overtaken the assault rifle as the main means of killing & destroying the enemy.

Also, naval drones just in the past few days shot down 2 Russian Su-30 jets over the Black Sea using US made Sidewinder missiles. This is unprecented.

If you care to read, below is a post on X by an American who fights for the UAF. His comments are fresh from the battlefield.

I don't think a 3-day truce solves anything other than giving both sides a brief rest to reinforce and redeploy.

What a mess Putin has created.

Ukrainian drones hit Russian airfields deep inside Russia.

Yeah, those drone strikes did some serious damage for sure, but I still believe neither side has enough "oomph" to achieve victory.

Not the kind of escalation needed right now, but that ship sailed when we let and helped them launch our missiles into Russia.

This is the largest single day of military aircraft loss for Russia since WWII. "If" Putin really intends to invade a NATO country this is a massive blow for such a plan. Either way it goes it's a huge loss for Russia as they continue to look as incompetent as they did in WWII as well as most of their military history.

Screams Russian arrogance and smugness. They continue to underestimate the resolve and genius of the Ukrainians.
And just this AM, the Ukrainians hit the Kerch bridge again with some kind of underwater detonation. Damage is unknown.

I am not sure what ratcheting up the attacks prior to talks accomplishes. Neither side seems to want this to end. I just hope neither side decides to move this thing to the next and last level.
