After watching the bowl game, several times now, I am still amazed at the coaching job by the HBC and staff. From the outset, our OL play combined with the Wolverines' defensive schemes didn't allow for our running backs to do much. The fact that we only handed the ball to our rb's 5 or 6 times and still won the game blew me away. Kudos to the staff for adjusting and taking what they gave us. That was as good a coaching job as we could want, especially when we've all seen some pretty big chokes (UF and LSU most notably).
After watching aTm dominate again last night, I'm not so sure that they're not the best team in the country. They always had the talent on the defensive side of the ball and Mark Snyder has put them in a position to win with his schemes. They stopped blowing double digit, 2nd half leads. And of course Sumlin's "O" impresses
