2013 Linebacker Position

I was concerned about this greatly, I think as we all were as the LB recruiting seemed to take a turn during recruiting but we ended up securing what appear to be a great group. That said, after seeing the 40 times of the guys yesterday, though I loved guys like Shaq. Simply put there was seemingly zero speed at that position.

I now think that we shouldn't be nearly as concerned as we were. Some of those times just shocked me.

Doesn't matter what you run in the 40 if you can't read and diagnose whats going on very fast. You should be concerned imo as experience is invaluable and we lack any. I think the lbs can be serviceable but expect them to take their lumps especially early in the season. Botkin will certainly prove his worth this year.
