I watched the entire game last night. I could have sworn Muschamp was coaching as we tried time after time after time after time to force up shots in the paint with 3 and sometimes 4 NC State players hanging on Boston and Amihere like Spanish moss. Cook and anyone else that even tried a 3 pointer couldn't buy one. And through it all the thought apparently never occurred to Muscha...er uh Staley to maybe just maybe put the Thompson girl in (you remember her don't you, the one that set some SCHS record for 3 point shooting) into the game to try and open up that defense.

NC state has a good team, no doubt, but our girls are better. For some reason the shot selection and focus was just off last night. Hope they use this as a lessoned learned moment.
If Staley subed in the 2nd string for the first like she did last year in one of our games we probably win. Kinda like you said.

I saw somewhere where Coach Staley said postgame, something about the team was simply uncoachable for the game -- obviously implying that maybe the team has needed a bit of an attitude adjustment. As if they were simply reading their press clippings and and then doing their own thing on the court.
If that's the case, hopefully this game will be a lesson learned for them. And none of us would probably want to be in the next practice.
