Didn't realize that the QB who started and played the entire game last week for Eastern Illinois did not take the field for the Panthers thus far. Not sure why, but the QB we're facing is getting his first snaps on the season.....

Starting to get a bit sloppy with the penalties.......Eastern Illinois finally get a false start penalty, while we have 6 penalties for 46 yards. EIU did have another penalty earlier that was declined by USC......
We haven't yet had ANY of what is known as "explosive" plays in the game. A play that gains 25+ yards. We've had a couple run plays for around 15 yds, and a couple pass plays for around 15 yds, but that's about it. Hope we're just running a vanilla offense out there. What we do in the 2nd half could change things, though....
