Gianna Kneepkens will be visiting the Gamecocks tomorrow.

As a redshirt junior this year, Kneepkens averaged 19.3 points, 5.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals. She also shot 50.4% from the field, 44.8% from 3-point land, and 89.0% from the foul line. Those percentages came on high volume, too, as she made more 3-pointers and more free throws than anyone on South Carolina’s team this season. Some around women’s basketball (understandably) consider her the top shooter in the country.

Kneepkens has already made visits to OK and TX. After visiting Columbia, she will have one more visit with UCLA. She is expected to make her pick sometime next week.

Madina Okot is in Columbia this weekend also. Right now she is working on getting her Visa paperwork straightened out from transferring from Ms State. Last year Okot average 11.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. Would love to get back to having a double-double big in the middle.
