An early look at South Carolina’s tough 2019 football schedule

The Gamecocks’ 2018 season is now in the books With a disappointing 28-0 loss vs Virginia in the Belk Bowl, (shut out for the first time in bowl history) has been ten years since the Gamecocks last shutout. Gamecocks finish the season 7-6. Now let's look ahead to 2019, a season in which South Carolina will play Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson, all of whom could be ranked in the top five at the time of the game. It would mark the toughest season on paper since South Carolina played No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Alabama and No. 4 Ole Miss in the 2009 season. Gamecocks will have their work cut out for them this season with Tennesse having a very good recruiting year only will improve and be much better and Florida will be playing for the number one spot in the SEC East. Could well replace Georgia to take the top spot away from the Dogs, plus Mizzu could well be a top 25 team as well. Good news is feeling the Gamecocks will break the skid against Kentucky get a win their the other skids sadly to say stick around. Hope I am wrong here and get a nice surprise. But having to face Bama, Dogs, Tigers, Texas A&M and now a very talented Florida team will be a lot to ask out of this team to beat any of the ones I just mentioned.  That's 5 losses right there alone. We shell see that's why they play the game.
