Andy Demetra

His first season calling hoops for us made me violently angry he was so awful. But now he's settled down, uses his natural voice instead of trying to sound like a "broadcaster", and I like him pretty well. I think he calls a pretty good game and stays on top of the action. In fact, I wish I saw/heard him more often. How do you folks feel about him?

God bless Bob Fulton. I know how most Gamecock fans loved that man, but you never knew what the score was, where the ball was, who had the ball, what team we were playing, or what city we were in. But other than that he was a pretty good sportscaster and he did have a charming nosebulb. The best we've had calling basketball was Charlie McAlexander - Charlie Mac, but folks didn't seem to like him very much. But as far as skill is concerned, that was a man who practically called every bounce of the ball. Mike Morgan was also pretty good.

I really enjoyed Mike Morgan when he did Gamecock baseball & basketball. Would do a great job in football just gives you a good feel of the game.

Andy Demetra does a good job just liked Mike more.............

I actually think Charlie Mac was better than most I have heard doing basketball.  Of course, he was run off...
