Baseball against Vandy

Looking at the rankings, Vandy is #4.
Looking at their stats, https://vucommodores.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/2023-Vanderbilt-Baseball-Overall-5.pdf, I am not sure why?
They have 6 losses and only 1 was against a ranked team, TCU.
I know they are still a good team, but nowhere near as good as LSU and I do not feel they are as good as we are.
This is another chance for our guys to show how good we really are this season.

They said on the radio early in last night's game with Upstate that pitcher Noah Hall has been battling a back issue.

That might explain why we didn't press for a Game 3 with LSU Saturday that much. Hopefully the downtime will allow to pitch against Vandy, since has been our Game 2 guy before missing the LSU series last weekend.

If Kingston lists Sanders and Mahoney for the first two games and leaves the Game 3 pitcher TBA, then we can assume Hall is still not healthy enough to pitch in the Vandy series.

They also said Carson Hornung seems to be recovering well from that broken bone in his foot since he was allowed to run the bases last night without issue.

We have a lot of talent in that bullpen and can always play multiple pitchers like we did yesterday.
