And then you have the recent announcements from Scoby and LeCroy stating they will be back next year...NIL bags or love the team? I suspect like most situations truth is somewhere in the middle.
I start to get real uncomfortable with the fans groundswell effect, on some sites it has almost become a modern day lynching mission. There was a lot of the same fan vitriol (NOT REFERRING TO THIS SITE, for the most part everyone here is an actual adult with level-headed views), regarding Coach Paris and the horrible SEC record this past year. Not saying the baseball and basketball situation are the same, because baseball sounds like some real "culture" problems, but a lot of the same calls for firing. Hopefully, the AD will do a thorough post-season review of the team and leadership, and make an informed decision about the programs future direction. At the very least, maybe the AD can tell Coach Manieri to remove his LSU vanity tag off of his automobile while he is a SC coach.
