In all honesty it is not his fault per se that Bobo left...but he is a horrible AD (IMO)

Fair enough! My only defense of Ray in what you listed above is Holbrook - seemed like an absolute can't-miss hire at the time.

I would be concerned about his ego...but then again after getting terminated that may have brought him down a notch or two...I don't remember the same issues with players while at Houston but he certainly did at Texas

Seems it was more related to recruiting relationships....which is going to be big for Shane. But it would be cool if we could get him.

he's still counting the monies he got this month, and the money from Florida, he has the 100's stacked in his house , he didn't have time was still counting the dollars Ray sent him .

Shaw, need to be in the recruiting office not sure he's ready for that roll. Call Tom Herman  make the call

has shaw ever served as a GA or would what he is doing under Muschamp the same?  Is that a necessary step to becoming a college coach?

 
I was OK with Bobo staying, but I'm not upset that he's leaving. As far as Friend goes, I didn't understand why he was hired after just being fired by Tennessee.  I guessed his relationship  with Bobo was the main reason.  I see Torrian Gray differently. I think he was fired because Mullen is under fire at Florida for various reasons and had to blame someone else for the Oklahoma blowout loss. Anyway, I hope Shane gets this wrapped up soon. We really need to focus on recruiting both the high schools and the transfer portals.

If we want guys who want to be here then let's hire Marcus as RB coach (assuming Des is bolting for Auburn), Connor Shaw as QB coach and Travelle Wharton as our OL coach - a guy can dream!

OC - Garret Riley I think would be great,

DC- Arnett

Then we'd have something special. 

 
Well I have a busy couple of days at work, and I missed a bunch of news. After reading through the threads, there does not appear to be anymore to be said that has not already been said.

Except that the OC might not be Riley. Heath Cline mentioned that Beamer's original choice (not Bobo) is still available, and that the announcement could come in a matter of days. That coach is not Garrett Riley, FWIW.

 
I am not worried about this one bit. I wasn’t crazy about keeping Bobo, but thought it would be ok. So now we get what we want. This will be better for the program.

Same here, when when news broke Bobo was staying. Said I was Leary of the move to keep him. So I am happy. I am just mad because we are here at the bottom again while the taters are a elite with Bama and the rest while Gamecock are next to the bottom of the SEC way to regular.  

 
LOL well Beamers got balls maybe Tanner can buy some from Beamer.
