Every year I like reading what each player gets by going to the various bowl games. I posted the list below, but here are my favorites (and laughables):
Belk bowl: shopping trip to a Belk department store (no joke). Nothing says “I’ve made it” quite like getting that highly anticipated sweater or buying your first Christmas china set.
Military Bowl: since you’re stuck in DC as your bowl game destination, we’ll hook you up with an ipad mini. Definitely the only highlight of the entire experience.
Hawaii bowl: a watch, backpack, aloha shirts, beach towel, shorts, tshirt, hat, visor, and calendar….the rest of the money went to getting your a** to Hawaii.
Russell Athletics Sports Bowl: “$420 shopping trip to a local Best Buy*, Timely watch” = code for smoking up in the back parking lot using the previously synchronized watch you’ll receive.
Sun Bowl (that’s for GT and Lame Kiffen’s boys): Timely watch, Majestic fleece, Top of the World cap, coin, Helen of Troy hair dryer—yes, a hair dryer. A “Helen of Troy” hair dryer! Please drop off your man card when receiving your gifts to the Sun Bowl.
