Three-star running back Kyshaun Bryan (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) has officially decommitted from South Carolina. Bryan, who originally committed to the Gamecocks on April 30, was the only running back in the recruiting class. It is not expected that South Carolina will sign a running back in the 2017 cycle.
Bryan committed to South Carolina over Miami in the spring but the Hurricanes are now back involved with the 5-foot-10, 190-pounder. Pittsburgh, Iowa and Oregon State are among the other schools that have shown him interest in recent weeks.
The Gamecocks now have 21 commitments in the 2017 recruiting class.
