2016 WR [COLOR= rgb(178, 34, 34)]Thomas Gordon[/COLOR] (6-0 163) of Charlotte has visited Clemson three times and the Tigers have made an impression on him. Though Duke is his favorite, Gordon said he is interested in Clemson.
“I went there for a camp with my 7-on-7 team and we got a private tour,” he said. “It was really nice. The stadium was bigger than I’m used to here in North Carolina. I liked the campus and the weight room was really nice.”
Gordon also attended a camp at USC.
“It was really competitive there,” he said. “They are really competitive there. It was a good trip. They have a nice stadium, a nice locker room and a nice weight room.”
Though he liked both schools, he did say that Duke has an advantage. “I just like the environment there,” Gordon said. “I just like the private school atmosphere and the education they can provide.”
He is still looking for his first offer but has heard from Clemson, USC, Duke and Charlotte among others. Gordon also attended camps at Wake Forest, North Carolina and Duke this summer.
He does not have any current visits planned but expects to see some games at Charlotte this fall.
