Azeez Ojulari
LB Azeez Ojulari of Marietta, GA has a wide range of offers including Clemson, USC, Georgia Tech, NC State, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, Maryland, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan State, TCU, North Carolina, Mississippi State, Pitt and others. Ojulari said Clemson and USC have consistent in their approach to him and strong with their interest.
“I’m hearing from them (Clemson) like every other day, every week, they are recruiting me hard,” said Ojulari who is in touch with Brent Venables and Todd Bates. “They are telling me how I could be a big impact to the team and how Clemson is family and where I fit and all that stuff. It’s a great place, a great family like place, and they make sure you get your degree, too. It’s great football, too. Great coaches.”
Ojulari last visited Clemson for a spring practice. He also visited USC for a junior.
USC also was in to see Ojulari this spring with outside linebackers coach Mike Peterson going in to put eyes on him.
“I like South Carolina,” he said. “He said I would be playing the Buck position. Coach Muschamp coached Dante Fowler. I think they are going to be good. They are trying to find the guys that will have an early impact. I like that. I’m trying to play early, too. They said they are rebuilding and making a move.”
Ojulari also has visited Georgia, Georgia Tech, Alabama and Tennessee. He has a return visit to Tennessee set for June 17th and he also plans to visit Florida and to make a return visit to Clemson this summer.
By the end of the summer, Ojulari plans to get his list down to a top ten and he will take official visits before he decides. He’s not sure yet if he will graduate early. There is not a favorite.
Last season he had 108 tackles and 7 sacks.
