AgreeIt's not just Covid and 70 in TV.'s. But it is those things, in addition to ever increasing ticket costs, booster club memberships, parking fees, $8 hotdogs, 40 year old bathrooms with pee-walls that don't get updated, all games being on TV, and a lot of other things.
I think you hit the nail on the head there. College football tickets are way more expensive than free parking at a HS game and paying $10 for a ticket.I believe it has a lot to do with kids these days don’t really care to go to games as much. They would rather go to a party and watch the game. The older generation, who had so much interest in going to games is aging out and let’s face it kids today have a lot more options for entertainment. Combine that with the quality of television, overpriced tickets and I think you have the recipe for a decline
