This year we need Shaw to step up, big time. He has been getting playing time since 2010. He knows the offense better than any QB spurrier has ever had.

He has got to step his game up and start slinging the ball. Like he's shown he can do. We all know Shaw doesn't have a great arm. But he has enough to make every throw he is asked. He just has to trust the system. Which is something he hasn't done week to week here, ever.

Today I spent my day watching five games from past season since I have them recorded. And I was not impressed with watching him play. He held on to the ball way to long and ended up dumping it off almost every play. And I could feel myself getting mad at him all over.

He's gotta stop playing "shaw ball" and just do what spurrier effin tells him to do. I watched him take a sack after having four seconds of clean pocket time and spurrier said "why won't he throw the damn ball" and the thing is, he has shown that he can run Spurrier's pass offense. He just chooses not to. Most of the time.

I honestly feel like he was the one piece holding last years team back. When we needed to pass the ball to win, we couldn't. And that's just a sad fact. Our team was really one dimensional with him in.

We've all seen what our offense can do when we have a QB who will let the ball go. No Need to bring that up. But if we are going to get over the hump were gonna need to sling it more than we have.

Shaw has got to come out aganst UNC a different QB and just sling the damn ball all over. If he is still playing shaw ball and dancing around in the backfield I hope we don't waste to much time playing him this year. Because I believe we're better than 150 pass yards a game.

He will be healthy this year for the first time in who knows when. So there is no excuse for him not to be lights out. It really is his time to shine. This is the year for him to become that player we all thought he could be,
