D.C.-area defensive end Tyree Johnson considering 5 SEC schools among top 12July 16, 2016
A number of Class of 2017 recruits have either committed or narrowed down their school targets list to the single digits. Three-star defensive end Tyree Johnson is not as far along.
However, Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 247-pound prospect from St. John’s College High in Washington, D.C., did release his top 12 on Sunday, with five SEC schools (Tennessee, Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and South Carolina) making that cut.
Johnson is the No. 31 overall defensive end prospect in the country and is considered a lean to nearby Maryland.
