District Heights (Md.) Bishop McNamara five-star offensive tackle Damian Prince 6'7" 310lbs
"I have three more visits left - South Carolina on January 17th, Florida on the 24th and Miami on January the 31st," Prince said.
He also stated, again, that his final decision will come after Signing Day on February 14th.
Prince officially visited Florida State on November 15th. He says he has a strong bond with Florida State assistant coach Tim Brewster.
"Coach Brewster is an awesome recruiter, he's an awesome person and he's been a head coach before," Prince said. "Me talking to him, he really knows a lot and he knows what I'm going through."
Where does FSU stand with Prince?
"FSU is still definitely in the running and definitely a possibility I choose their hat on Signing Day.
While on the visit Prince had his first opportunity to meet FSU offensive line coach Rick Trickett.
"He's a real good guy who knows a lot about coaching the offensive line and at the end of the day that's all that matters. He's a guy that I feel I could come in and learn a lot from," Prince said.
The month of January will be a busy one. Prince hasn't been visited by any head coaches yet. Those visits will all take place between his official visits in January. There's one head coach in particular that Prince would like to meet.
"I really want to meet coach (Steve) Spurrier," Prince said. "He's a legend, he's just a football legend."
When it comes to making a final decision, Prince says there isn't just one factor to his decision, there are several.
"I can't put my finger on one thing, there's not a formula, it's just a feel. I'm looking for that place that feels like home and there is a lot that goes into that."
Prince's Crystal Ball currently favors Maryland with 69% of the 36 predictions. Florida State claims 25% of the predictions. Ohio State and Florida each claim 3%.
He is considered the No. 3 offensive tackle in the nation and top prospect from Maryland.
