Guard Doniyah Cliney, the No. 13 guard in the class and the No. 105 prospect nationwide by prospectsnation.com, committed late Tuesday night to South Carolina, according to sources close to the program. A 6-foot guard who can do a little bit of everything, Cliney hails from Newark, N.J., and Malcolm X. Shabazz High School.
Cliney is the third member of the next recruiting class, joining Dreher High’s Kaydra Duckett and Bianca Cuevas, a highly rated guard from New York.
