DB Jaycee Horn of Alpharetta, GA visited Alabama and Tennessee last weekend. He is trying to make his decision between those two and USC. He’s already passed his original decision deadline of July 15th because he can’t make up his mind and he hasn’t set a new deadline. But he said he will visit USC one more time before making the decision. When that visit will take place has not been determined.
Horn went to Alabama Friday and was at Tennessee Saturday and Sunday and said both visits went well.
“I liked both of them, it was cool,” he said. “At Alabama, it was just a little cookout and after that went to the locker room, tried on the uniform and that was pretty much it. I stayed overnight at Tennessee. I talked to all the coaches and just hung out.”
Horn also talks regularly with Gamecock coach Will Muschamp whose message to him, he said, has been consistent throughout.
“Just come to South Carolina and be a part of the upcoming success of the Gamecocks,” he said. “They are on their way up and he wants me to be a part of that. I don’t really care about the past history (of any of the teams), I’m just trying to go somewhere where I feel comfortable with the coaches. Will all three of those programs I can’t go wrong. All of them have had success in the past so I’m not worried about what happened in the past. I feel like I can play at any school early, personally, so now it’s just me seeing where I get the best feel.”
Horn said there is no leader at this point among his three schools.
