4 star DB Mark Fields Jr. 5'10' 186lbs of Charlotte has a top three of USC, Georgia and Alabama and while he will visit some other schools, he says he does not foresee adding any other schools to his short list.

Saturday Fields will make a return visit to USC to watch a Gamecock spring practice and meet with the coaches as he continues the process towards a final decision.

“I’m not putting a

ny timetable on it,” Fields said of a decision date. “Whenever I feel like I’m ready, that’s when I’ll do it. I’ll probably take some visits other places but those are the three schools I like the most.”

And Fields says no one should be surprised that USC is one of his top three.

“South Carolina has always been one of my top schools,” he said. “They haven’t gone anywhere. This will be my first time there this year for the spring training and the upcoming season so I’m excited to be back there and see what’s changed and talk to the coaches in person again.”

He also plans to visit Alabama and Georgia but does not have dates set.

Fields says all three schools are telling him he’ll have a chance to play early so that’s not a big factor in his decision. “I would say my comfort level,” Fields said in pointing out the key factor in his decision. He added that he talks with USC recruiter and defensive backs coach Grady Brown every day.
