Freshly decommitted 3 star DE Blake McClain 6'4" 280lbs of Jacksonville, FL met this afternoon at his school with USC recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. and will entertain the coach in his house tonight for a family gathering. "It was real good, we had a nice long talk," McClain said of this afternoon's meeting. "He talked about how they lost their starting defensive ends and they are looking to sign two defensive ends and I could fit right in with their defense." McClain is scheduled for an official visit to Nebraska this weekend and he will take that trip. He's never visited USC and it would be tough to get in before the dead period hits midnight Sunday. And he has limited knowledge about the Gamecocks right now. "I know their defense is pretty much incredible and I like how they run their 4-3," he said. McClain said right now his decision is between USC and Nebraska and he has no lean.
