4 star DE Devin Washington 6'3" 207lbs added Clemson to his offer list Tuesday pushing his total to 23. Iowa State and Wake Forest are other recent offers. “The Clemson offer was a big one,” Washington said. “I haven’t been hearing a lot from them. It caught me by surprise.” Washington has been hearing a lot from USC which was one of his early offers. He communicates regularly with recruiter Everette Sands. Washington has not yet trimmed his list, but when he does, USC will be on the short list. “South Carolina will definitely make my top five,” he said. He visited USC in February and is going to try to revisit. He has been to Central Florida recently and will go the spring game there Saturday. He will also try to visit Clemson and South Florida. He will narrow his list to 10-15 around the end of his spring practice then later he will cut to five. He plans a decision in late summer or early fall. There is no favorite. Washington cuts list to a final 10

DE Devin Washington of Orlando is down to 10 schools from 27 offers. Washington listed his final 10 on his Twitter accout. Making the cut were USC, Clemson, Central Florida, Vanderbilt, NC State, Duke, South Florida, Florida International, Ole Miss and Missouri. Washington plans to cut the list in half this summer and then take his official visits. He has not determined a commitment date. Washington is regarded as one of the top prospects in Florida. He had 55 tackles with 11 sacks last season.
