Zacch Pickens
DE Zacch Pickens of TL Hanna has taken a handful of unofficial visits during the recruiting season. His most recent stop was last Saturday at Clemson for a junior day. It was his first visit with the Tigers since last season when he attended games at Death Valley.
Pickens also has been to USC, Georgia and Alabama according to Hanna coach Jeff Herron. To the coach’s knowledge, Pickens doesn’t have any favorites at this point.
“He doesn’t talk about playing time or who’s coming back,” Herron said. “Knowing Zacch and the kind of kid he is, he’s a great young man and the people are more important to him than all that other stuff. Trusting and knowing the people that are going to be around is a big deal to him.”
Herron said Pickens has not decided if he will sign and graduate early but that is an option that has been discussed.
