Despite the fact that there have been rumors that Scott has silently committed to Tennessee, that has been flat out denied to me by multiple people around the four-star back. The idea that Scott has already privately decided on Tennessee was also denied.

I was told that as of last night that Scott is torn between South Carolina and Tennessee and has struggled to make a final decision. Florida is completely out. Both South Carolina and Tennessee have been confident.

One thing worth pointing out is that Scott is one of the most private kids you'll come across and he plays things very close to the vest. Still, at this point, I would lean towards him picking Tennessee, though I'll say if he's truly torn then the longer it takes for him to decide, then the more I could see the comfort level with South Carolina being a factor.

One thing to keep an eye on here that has the potential to become a factor is that Tennessee is hosting another running back on an official visit this weekend in four-star ATH Darrel Williams (Marrero, La./John Ehret). Williams is committed to LSU but has his own concerns about the Tigers' depth chart and the fact they landed the nation's No. 1 prospect in running back Leonard Fournette. Tennessee is considered to at least be a factor with Williams and if he flips to the Vols this weekend, then that would mean Scott is almost definitely going to South Carolina, since Tennessee doesn't have room for two more backs.

Monday morning update -  From what I am hearing several sources with knowledge of Scott's recruitment Sunday, all is quiet on the Havelock front. Both South Carolina and Tennessee are in the dark right now in regards to Scott's final decision to the best of my knowledge, though those who "thought" on Saturday that it would be Tennessee felt the same way on Sunday. I do know that South Carolina was still receiving positive feedback as of this weekend too.

While it wouldn't shock me if it went either way, I feel he is going to commit to Tennessee. Scott is a very private kid, but there's just simply too much smoke on the Tennessee side for me not to go that direction...........
