Details For Dec. 19 Basketball Doubleheader; Appalachian State, No. 1 Stanford
COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina men's and women's basketball teams will host the first of three doubleheaders for the 2012-13 season on Wednesday, Dec. 19, when Appalachian State visits Colonial Life Arena to face the Gamecock men's team at 5 p.m. ET, before the Carolina women's team battles No. 1 Stanford shortly after.
Both contests will be televised on Fox Sports South with the men's game set for a hard start time of 5 p.m., with the women's contest following 30 minutes after the conclusion of the night's first game. The arena will not be cleared during the intermission between games.
Gates for the doubleheader will open at 4 p.m. Tickets for the men's contest, which includes $18 for lower bowl seats and $15 for upper, will be on sale until halftime of that contest, before tickets for the women's game will be available for $7 for adult and $4 for youth (17 and under).
All tickets for the men's game will be honored for admission to the women's contest. As a note to fans sitting in sections 104 and 105 for the Appalachian State game, at the conclusion of the contest you are asked to please relocate to sections 101 or 118 for the second game of the night.
Parking will be $5 in the lots surrounding Colonial Life Arena through halftime of the men's contest.
