Per Clay Travis' twitter post:

DirecTV is emailing SEC fans who have requested @SECNetwork that they "have no current plans to carry the SEC Network." Be forewarned.

I'm guessing it's a negotiation ploy, but would be a huge disservice if they don't have it day 1.

I am not surprised.  If they don't need The Weather Channel, they won't need a strictly Southern venture...

What's weird is that I have DirecTV and I DO have the Weather Channel.

But yeah.....no SEC Network = come pick up your equipment please.

You have had the Weather Channel the entire time?  Speaking of, how is the Accuweather channel on DirecTV?

I could be wrong but I assumed that DirecTV yanked TWC for Accuweather or had their own weather network?  I dunno..

Anyway, I wouldn't call not having SEC Network a deal breaker, but just hope the local bars have the channel..

I hope I don't have to go to a local bar to watch my favorite games.

Accuweather....I remember now, that's where Mark Mancuso (former Weather Channel) went to.

I think that's channel 112 on Time Warner.

I don't want to go to Sportsbar either, but if it ain't on laptop I won't get to see it until YouTube at the end of year...
