DL Dexter Wideman could visit USC Saturday

After surprising many by committing to Florida State earlier this year, 4 star DL Dexter Wideman 6'4" 275lbs of Saluda has been mostly silent. Wideman had been considered a strong USC lean having grown up a Gamecock fan. Back in September after Wideman visited USC for the Vanderbilt game, his coach Doug Painter told Palmetto Sports, "I feel sure he'll go back to Carolina again. I'm just guessing that there is still a chance there." That chance may be this weekend. Wideman confirmed via text he could be at Williams-Brice Stadium Saturday writing, "Prolly so...not for sure yet tho [sic]." Painter said previously that Wideman has not closed the door on USC and will likely take an official visit with the Gamecocks before deciding.
