The long running relationship between USC defensive line coach Lance Thompson and DL Karamo Dioubate 6'3" 265lbs of Philadelphia has paid off for the Gamecocks in the form of an official visit.
Dioubate will visit USC Sunday thru Tuesday after first visiting Michigan State Friday thru Sunday. He visited Temple last weekend.
Thompson visited Dioubate Wednesday and the two firmed up the visit during the meeting.
“He’s been recruiting me for a long time now,” Dioubate said adding that Thompson first starting recruiting him while at Auburn. “Just getting down there and seeing the place, that’s all.”
This will be Thompson’s second chance to host Dioubate on an official visit. He visited Auburn while Thompson was still there December 12th.
This will be his first visit to USC and he said he has nothing in particular that he wants to see. And said he has no other official visits planned after USC.
The former Penn State commitment also has an offer from Ohio State and has been considering the Buckeyes. He said he has not narrowed his list at this point from those five schools highest on his list…USC, Penn State, Michigan State, Temple and Ohio State.
